National Geographic features Jamkhed, a learning partner of Future Generations

Future Generations Master's Degree Students in JamkhedFuture Generations Master's Degree Students in JamkhedThe December, 2008 issue of National Geographic features Jamkhed, a community-based rural health program in India.  Future Generations has worked closely with and continues to learn a great deal from the Comprehensive Rural Health Program of Jamkhed. As part of their India residential, Future Generations Master's Degree students reside at Jamkhed and learn from a vast range of community experience. 

Canadian Broadcasting Corporation produces "Flora's Mission" highlighting the work of Future Generations Canada

In 2007, Future Generations Trustee Emeritus, the Honourable Flora MacDonald, founded Future Generations Canada to raise awareness and funds for Future Generations work in Bamyan Province of central Afghanistan.

Future Generations Arunachal in Ode Magazine

Writer Bill McKibben mentions Future Generations in his article What the World Needs Now in Ode Magazine. 

McKibben writes: "We'd come to visit a woman trained by a remarkable American foundation, Future Generations, as a village welfare worker...", and goes on to explain how a villager in remote Arunachal Pradesh, India is applying the lessons of Gandhi through her work with Future Generations.

CBC video: Saving Tibet's Great Rivers

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's Senior Asia Correspondent, Patrick Brown, travels to Tibet, China to investigate the impact of climate change. He discovers local people working to establish the new Four Great Rivers protected area, initiated in partnership by Future Generations.  The ten minute news feature was broadcast on Canadian public television and is available on their website.  See below for the Google Video version:
